She has been with me since I was 18 and she was a stray outside my first house so I took her in...she was so skittish and the vet said it was likely that she was abused. So naturally she was rarely seen by guests and preferred hiding at any noise. However after seven years, she is completely social and I just love her. So I promise that this story has a point and is not just a cat love session. I want to remind everyone how important it is to spay and neuter your pets AND how important it is to take care of the animals around you...who knows? You might find your own Miss Bootsie :)
